Art is how we decorate space; music is how we decorate time.

Brandon plays music.

I’m a bassist and percussionist in the Kansas City area with 19 years of experience playing in bands. I can also play some drums and acoustic guitar and even hold down a few chords on a keyboard. I’ve played everything from rock to jazz, punk to Americana.

Aside from musical instrument skills, I’m also well versed in music theory, on both an academic and intuitive level—I can usually pick up a song on my first listen through, I transpose in my head, I can figure out chords to a melody, and I easily fall into the pocket with most drummers and bands I play with.

I’m most experienced in a live setting, but I’ve recorded numerous times and can be available for session work. I’m not currently looking for a large, long-term commitment, but feel free to contact me using the information at the top of the page about short-term commitments, or to book one of my bands below.
